What data we process

Technical website visit data. Our server automatically logs every request and records the IP address, the date and time, the address of the requested page, the browser and operating system type, and the server response code. Without these logs the website could not function technically.

Contact details you provide. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process what you supply yourself, meaning your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser in order to remember your choices. This website uses two cookies.

pll_language, a functional cookie that remembers the language selected in the language switcher. Valid for one year.

cookie_notice_accepted, a strictly necessary cookie that remembers you have already seen the information notice, so that it does not reappear on every visit. Valid for one month.

Both cookies are first-party, meaning they are set by our own website, and neither contains data that identifies you. We do not use statistics, analytics, marketing or tracking cookies.

Under Article 73(4) of the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, consent is required where cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the website are used. As we use none of these, we do not ask for consent, but we are required to inform you, which is the purpose of this policy.

You may delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

The legal basis for processing

We process technical visit data in order to ensure the operation and security of the website, relying on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We respond to your enquiries in order to provide the requested information or to take steps prior to entering into a contract, relying on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where the enquiry is unrelated to a contract, we rely on our legitimate interest under point (f) of the same article.

How long we retain data

Server logs are retained for up to six months, after which they are deleted.

Correspondence is retained for up to one year. Where a contractual relationship arises, data is retained for as long as accounting and archiving legislation requires.

Who the data is shared with

Data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Technical access to the data is held by our website hosting provider, acting as a processor under a contract. The servers are located within the territory of the European Union, so data is not transferred to third countries.

Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where legislation requires it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to data portability.

To exercise these rights, write to info@startvokas.com. We will respond within one month at the latest.

If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania, L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, email ada@ada.lt.
